The nearest airport from Gangtok is Bagdogra which is 124kms, about 4hrs drive. One can easily get helicopter service provided by the Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation on regular basis and it takes 20 minutes to reach Gangtok from Bagdogra.

By Rail
New Jalpaiguri is the nearest railway station located at a distance of 125kms which is about 4hrs from Gangtok. New Jalpaiguri is conveniently linked with other prime cities of India.

By Road
The Natinal Highway 31A is conveniently linked with Siliguri, Darjeeling and Kalimpong by road. The availability of jeeps, private buses and taxis from Bagdora and Siliguri make travelling by road a hassle free experience for the tourists. One can also get Sikkim state transport buses from Gangtok to Siliguri.
